Darlene E. Massi joined the Headhunters team as an Instructor of hairdressing in May 2001. Darlene brings a myriad of experiences to us having been a C.I.A.B.C. member since 1978.

Throughout the years she has continued to attend numerous workshops, seminars and hairshows in the cosmetology field.

She completed her education at Selkirk College in Nelson, BC. Vancouver Institute of Technology, Suki's Academy in Vancouver, B.C., Vancouver Island School of the Arts in Courtney, B.C., U.C.C and Vancouver Community College. Darlene also worked towards a diploma in the Vancouver Community College's P.I.D. program at U.C.C. In addition, she now has her Advanced Aesthetics degree as well as her hairdressing degree. In fact, she is well versed in the art of teaching, all aspects of both fields of our beauty culture.

Darlene is experienced as a creative stylist for film, theatre, dance and music productions. She also was a travelling hairstylist for invalids and shut-ins locally and cross country while working in the music industry; a valuable experience she can pass on to aspiring students.

She loves working with students and teaching and sharing with them her skills and experiences. Truly a delight to be around and a great addition to our team.
